Heron Electrical Ltd was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic by David, who began building the business by carrying out electrical work for local builders and homeowners.

As demand for his services continued to grow, it quickly became clear that additional support was needed.

Having previously worked together in the solar industry, David reached out to Ben, who joined Heron Electrical to help expand the business. Starting as a two-man team, they worked on the tools while subcontracting to several solar companies within the renewable energy sector.

Through their strong work ethic, commitment to quality, and determination to succeed, the business experienced rapid growth, expanding to a team of 15 engineers within just two years.

As the company continued to develop, David and Ben began supplying and installing solar systems directly for domestic customers, while also securing a growing number of commercial projects. In 2022, Heron Electrical took another significant step forward by opening its first office and warehouse, alongside recruiting office staff to support the increasing workload.

Today, Heron Electrical is proud to employ more than 40 engineers and a dedicated office team of eight. The company continues to partner with several of the UK’s leading national solar providers while also delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions directly to homeowners and commercial clients.

Despite its continued growth, the values that built the business remain unchanged. David and Ben are committed to maintaining the same hard-working attitude, exceptional standards, and customer-focused approach that have been at the heart of Heron Electrical since day one.
